Review: Glico’s Cream Collon Sakura Matcha Cookies (クリームコロン大人のさくら抹茶)!

When I saw Glico’s Cream Collon Sakura Matcha Cookies (クリームコロン大人のさくら抹茶) at the store, I bought them immediately.

Interesting Discovery

The Japanese name for this product is クリームコロン大人のさくら抹茶 which directly translates to “Cream Collon Adult Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Matcha (Green Tea)”.

So the question is, why is the word “adult” in the name?

No, it doesn’t mean that the product is for adults only. It actually means that the product has a strong flavor. The translation, “strong sakura matcha flavor” is more accurate.

I loved these. The taste was perfect! The sweet floral flavor of the sakura cream blended well with the bitterness of the matcha cookie.

Once I started eating them, I couldn’t stop. I wish I had bought a bucket full of these. Great movie snack.
