I wasn’t sure how to feel about these Lays Funyuns Flavored Chips. I used to love Funyuns when I was little. Now that I’m older, I prefer real onion rings.
Still, I was curious and decided to buy a bag since it was on sale anyway.
Location
I bought these at Pick & Save along with the Lays Cheetos Cheese chips.
Cost
I bought these for $2 USD. They were on sale for 2 for $4.
Taste
Yes, these Lays Funyuns flavored chips tasted like the original Funyuns. I actually found them a little saltier. Maybe it’s because they’re thinner unlike the original Funyuns rings.
I love onions and garlic so I felt like these wavy chips would be a perfect addition to a burger or eaten with artichoke dip. They somewhat reminded me of the Lays Sour Cream & Onion chips.

Would I buy the Lays Funyuns Flavored Chips again? No.
I have nothing against these chips, but I just felt they were a little lacking. The flavor was exactly like the original Funyuns and I did enjoy eating them but that was it. I felt like I was expecting something more.
