As you can see in the photo above, there’s also 2 other flavors, Birthday Cake and Mermaid Blue Raspberry. Each box comes with 6 octagon shaped waffles.
I was very excited to try these new Kellogg’s Unicorn waffles. I was looking forward to the pink color but unfortunately the actual product isn’t as pink as the image printed on the box. It’s actually a paler color, like an off-pink.

When I first opened the bag, I didn’t smell anything on the waffles. I first tried a waffle alone and it was quite sad that the waffle was barely sweet. I didn’t have very high expectations to begin with but I was still expecting something more than just a plain waffle. (っ´ω`)ﾉ(╥ω╥) Cotton candy is a hard flavor to imitate; it’s literally cooked sugar that’s quickly cooled by spinning it. ┐(︶▽︶)┌ I was honestly expecting like a super sweet sugar cookie type of flavor. Sad to say, but maybe they should’ve gone with a different stronger flavor like cherry. Luckily, with some toppings, the waffles are still good and make a cute breakfast since it’s already dyed pink.
nutrition facts & ingredients
I couldn’t find any information on the Kellogg’s website about this product, so on the left is a photo of the nutrition facts & ingredients printed on the box. I was hoping the ingredients listed more than just “natural and artificial flavors” in regards to the flavor. As you can see as well, a lot of food color went into the mix.
would I buy this again? Probably not.
I’m just not a breakfast type of person. Most of the time if you caught me having waffles is as a snack or dessert. I’ll probably finish off the rest of this box by making cute desserts. It’s disappointing that the cotton candy flavor was just not there; it most definitely needed to a sweeter and stronger flavor. I have to say though, these new Kellogg’s Unicorn waffles really gave me some kawaii energy early in the morning! (´｡• ω •｡`) ♡
