I had the best mango mille crepe cake and mango juice sago dessert at Mango Mango Chicago. ٩(◕‿◕｡)۶
I walked past this dessert shop many times telling myself that I’d eat there some other time. I gave in after having a desperate craving for a mango flavored dessert. I was really missing the mango cake I had at (東海堂) Amore Bakery in Hong Kong and thought it was time I ate at Mango Mango Chicago.

Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice Cream
This was delicious. The mango flavor was strong throughout. If you love mango, you’ll love eating this. The liquid around the bowl was like a mango puree mixed with some kind of citrus, probably the pomelo. It was smooth and creamy. The mango chunks were soft and very sweet. The ice cream was creamy and the flavor matched the rest of the dish very well. Overall, I couldn’t imagine a more mango flavored dish. Everything about it was perfect! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
At first I thought the dish was smaller than I expected but as I started eating it, I realized it was a lot bigger than what it looked. This treat can definitely be shared with 1 or 2 other people.
Mango Mille Crepe Cake

I didn’t think my order could get any better. After paying $8.45USD plus taxes on it, I was concerned about being disappointed. I have to point out the size because that was one of my concerns. I felt like this was about twice or thrice the size of the mille crepe cakes I’ve seen. I was happier about the price when I saw it wasn’t tiny. It’s a cake size you can share with friends although after you taste it, you might not want to.
When I tasted it, I was immediately in love. I’ve never had a mille crepe cake so good. This cake was very moist, all throughout. The creme was perfectly distributed through every layer and corner too.
The flavor was amazing; it was definitely a mango cake with real ingredients. The cake tasted fresh as if it was recently made and well covered when refrigerated.
Would I buy the Mango Mango Chicago again?
Answer: Yes.
I’m already looking forward to going back and trying something else on the menu and maybe taking some of that mango mille crepe cake home. This would be a perfect spot to eat with friends or share a treat with a date. ( ˘⌣˘)♡(˘⌣˘ )
