My new find at the konbini (コンビニ) is this LOTTE Ghana Chocolate Cookie Truffle (ザクほろシュー & クﾂキー).
I love to stop by the konbini (コンビニ) at least once every 3 weeks (that’s if I haven’t gone, which is unlikely) to look for new products to try. There’s always something new!

Taste
I was surprised when I first tasted one of the cookies because I wasn’t expecting it to be covered in chocolate powder. This felt like a chocolate powdered truffle but instead of chocolate ganache inside, there’s a buttery cookie that quickly disintegrates in the mouth.
The chocolate tasted like dark chocolate. It gives the cookie a bitter sweet flavor.

These were pleasantly delicious. It’s a bit of a bummer that there’s only 5 in each bag but it was still worth the try. I think these would go well with a cup of coffee or tea.
