I was shopping at Maruetsu マルエツ hoping to buy some ice cream for dessert and found the Bourbon White Rollita Biscuit Ice Cream with Strawberry sauce.
To be honest I didn’t realize it was a biscuit, I thought it was cake until I bit into it.
Bourbon & the Bourbon White Rollita
If you love Japanese snacks then you definitely know the brand Bourbon. It’s one of the most common brands in Japan and their cookies are well liked.
The Bourbon White Rollita is one of their regular butter biscuits covered in white creme. It makes a great tea biscuit that’s crunchy but also melts in your mouth with a light sweetness.
This ice cream has the Bourbon White Rollita embedded inside the ice cream with a little strawberry twist and then encased in a wafer.

Taste
As it says on the packaging, there’s Bourbon White Rollita biscuit, strawberry sauce, vanilla ice cream, light chocolate coating and the wafer that keeps everything together.
This was very tasty and simple. The buttery taste of the Bourbon White Rollita biscuit blended well with the creaminess of the ice cream.
I wish there was more strawberry sauce because it tasted good with the cookie.

Would I buy Bourbon White Rollita Ice Cream again?
Answer: No.
Worth Trying?: At least once.
The Bourbon White Rollita Ice Cream was great but I prefer to eat my ice cream without crunchy thing in it unless it’s a scoop of ice cream. As someone with sensitive teeth, chewing through the ice cream along with the cookie was difficult. Also the difference in texture made it hard to eat; the cookie was hard but the ice cream and wafer were very mushy.
