I love flavored milk, especially hot chocolate, so when I saw this (サンガリア) Sangaria Rum Raisin Milk, I had to buy it.
Putting aside the fact that I’m lactose intolerant, I was really looking forward to some alcohol content and even a rum cake kind of flavor from this drink. Anything otherwise would make it disappointing.
Sangaria is one of those Japanese brands I hardly notice though I often buy it, so this flavor was definitely something that made me add the brand to my foodie list.

Taste
Wow! The taste of alcohol in this Rum Raisin Milk is strong. I was surprised that I couldn’t find a label about the alcohol content percentage because it sure tasted like there was a lot of rum in it. The raisins must have been soaked in rum for a very long time.
I enjoyed the drink but with how strong the alcohol flavor was, this drink would be better for soaking in a cake or mixing into an alcoholic drink.
