When I first heard of the Morinaga DARS Raisin Butter Cookie Chocolate I couldn’t find it anywhere except a family mart that was selling individual pieces. A few weeks later I found the box in the photo above in Don Quijote.
While I’m not a fan of raisins, I was excited to try it.

Taste
This definitely wasn’t one of my favorite chocolates by Morinaga but that’s probably because I’m biased. I don’t particularly like raisins and this had raisin bits in it. I didn’t expect it to. I thought it would simply taste like a rum raisin.
As to the actual advertised flavor, I thought the butter cookie flavor was perfect but didn’t get much flavor out of the raisins in the chocolate. I loved the cookie bits in the chocolate; that was my favorite part.
